Philanthropy Northwest Honors TAF
Organization celebrates 30 years by acknowledging innovative programs
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Philanthropy Northwest
published
Northwest Innovations,
which profiles 17 outstanding organizations
serving our region. All organizations were
selected by a panel of leading
philanthropists for best exemplifying the
Northwest's core values: initiative,
innovation and collaboration. TAF is honored
to be included in this list. According to Ken
Thompson of the Bill & Melinda Gates
Foundation, "[TAF's] goal is for kids
to go to college and be the leaders of

Verizon Supports TechStart Expansion
We are pleased to announce that the Verizon Foundation has
awarded TAF $20,000 to support our
expansion plans for TechStart in 2008.
Verizon shares TAF's belief that kids thrive
in a culture of academic achievement, and
programs like TechStart build a solid
foundation of skills necessary to live and
work in the 21st Century.
