Dear Technology Community Member,
Your investment matters! Your involvement today will make a difference for our TAF Academy students.
Students who choose to enroll in TAF Academy know that we set the bar high. They are committed to hard work and we promise that each student will graduate with a 'college ready' transcript. Our graduates will be prepared for the technology-driven global economy of the 21st century.
At whatever level you choose to invest, you can know that it will directly support one or more of our students. We’re all working together towards a common goal of a better future for underserved youth of color and our state.
Double your investment! AH&T Insurance has generously agreed to match the first $2,500!!
Thank you for taking the time to invest in tomorrow’s leaders.
Warmly,
|

For the 2008-2009 school year, TAF needs to raise $75,000 to cover these basic, yet critical, elements of a solid education. That's equivalent to $500 for each of the 150 students starting class this fall.
Overall, for the first year of TAF Academy, TAF is bringing an additional $7,090/student, for an overall fundraising goal of $1,063,612 for 2008-2009.

"A strong K-12 education system is fundamental to a strong economy and an essential investment in the region’s future workforce. It is not just an issue of workforce supply; it is an issue of quality of life as talented people are attracted to places with good public schools and educational opportunities."
