The First TAF Academy will be located in the Federal Way Public School District

In November 2007, TAF signed a Joint Operating Agreement with Federal Way Public Schools, forming an innovative public-private partnership for the very first TAF Academy.

TAF Academy @ Federal Way will open in September 2008 in portables on the campus of Totem Middle School. It will start with 50 students in 6th, 7th and 9th grades.

Enrollment is open to all students in the Totem Middle School reference area. Students outside the reference area may apply by lottery if there is space available.

There are still openings for 7th and 9th grade students.
