Launching Our Children’s Futures
A Campaign for the TAF Community Learning Space (CLS)

TAF knows that with the right learning environment and a supportive community, every child can succeed. We have reached a physical barrier at our two leased sites; limiting our ability to expand our programs. We do not have the space required to be able to hire and house staff to fulfill our vision as outlined in our strategic business plan.

  • In our current leased spaces, our capacity to reach underserved youth will only grow to 825 students per year by 2011 – one TAF Academy and a TechStart program serving 320 students

  • The CLS undergirds our ability to serve 4,100 students per year by the year 2016, because we will have the space to house the staff necessary to deliver an expanded TechStart program and establish TAF Academy in 4 additional cities

  • The CLS provides the space, outfitted with 21st century teaching tools, so we can train area teachers to deliver 21st century skills to 12,000 students per year by the year 2016
