Breakfast History
Now in its seventh year, the TAF Leadership Breakfast is a chance for business and community leaders the connect with others working to improve educational opportiunities for underserved students of color. Formerly the Women's Breakfast, we changed the focus of the event in 2005 to recognize the contributions of all community leaders.
The TAF Leadership Breakfast features enlightening presentations from TAF students, staff, and supporters. The event serves as an annual gathering for those dedicated to improving education, and it's an opportunity for us to update the community on our major initiatives, share our successes, and reveal plans for the upcoming year. The morning also features a recognition ceremony where we present the Kiongozi Award for outstanding contribuion to the field of education.
